Brian has over twelve years of progressively increasing responsibility in public procurement with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York (MTA). Mr. Esposito has held staff and management positions including Customer Service Specialist, Special Duty Supervisor, Senior Process Specialist – Payroll, Associate Staff Analyst, Purchasing Supervisor, Manager-Capital Construction/Program Management, and Assistant Director of Material Management. He has led teams of up to 25; overseen $700 mil in procurements; has had p-card administration expertise; led continuous improvement projects; and delivered millions of dollars in savings. Prior to joining the MTA, Brian enjoyed a short stint with American Lawyer Media and a multi-year experience working the other side of the desk as an account executive for Ricoh. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from the College of Staten Island (part of the City University of New York system), and currently resides in Manalapan, New Jersey with his wife and three daughters.
Kenneth J. Hess - Deputy Secretary for Procurement
Hess has most recently held supply chain leadership positions with TE Connectivity and Patton Electronics. He served the Commonwealth of PA from 2004 to 2011 as the DGS Director of the Bureau of Supplies and Surplus Operations. Mr. Hess has more than 25 years of experience with PA firms in Logistics, Purchasing, Fleet and Operations roles. Deputy Hess holds an MSBA from Bucknell University, a BSBA from Bloomsburg University of PA, and an AAS from Penn College of Technology. He has held officer level positions with several professional organizations, including Central PA Chapter of NAPM; Cumberland Valley Chapter APICS; and Susquehanna Valley Chapter SHRM
