Our Commitment to Community
At NASPO®, making a difference is more than a goal – it is a part of our DNA. From supporting relief efforts during times of crisis to providing easy access to learning resources, we are always focused on supporting communities and those they serve.
2017: NASPO Cares Begins
NASPO Cares (Est. 2017) has partnered with local organizations in cities where we host our conferences and events. What started as saying “thank you” has become a tradition of service and support. Since 2017, NASPO has donated more than $77,000 to the communities where we have hosted conferences.
NASPO Cares Committee (Est. 2024) Our employee-led initiative ensures equitable fund distribution to organizations nationwide. Staff submit nominations and fund donations themselves. Since we formed this committee, we have given an estimated $15,000.
2024: NASPO Gives Back Launches
NASPO Gives Back (Est. 2020) We took that spirit nationwide with NASPO Gives Back and expanded our reach to help with disaster relief. Since we began this effort, we have been able to donate more than $180,000.

NASPO Gives Back – Makes Donation to Central Texas Flood Relief Efforts
The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) announced today a donation of $25,000 to support ongoing relief efforts for communities devastated by the catastrophic flooding that swept through Central Texas over the July 4th weekend.

The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) announced today that it will be donating funds to support the relief efforts in Guam after the devastating impact of Super Typhoon Mawar. As a US territory, Guam is one of NASPO’s primary members, and NASPO aims to assist in the recovery and rebuilding process in the affected region.
