Presenters, Danetta Jackson, Business Outreach Program Manager for California, and Telisha Jackson, Small Business Outreach Specialist for Georgia, discuss building beneficial relationships with small businesses. This webinar will examine small business outreach and engagement programs from our presenters' states, identify ways to engage small business as member of central purchasing, and touch on ways small businesses can compete for state purchasing opportunities.

After this presentation, attendees will be able to:

1. Understand some features of the small business outreach programs of the presenters’ states.

2. Identify ways to engage small businesses to compete for contract opportunities.

3. Identify ways to improve working relationships with awarded small businesses (contract management).

4. Apply some practices or strategies to improve their own outreach to, and relationships with, small businesses.
