Description: This Procurement U online course discusses the significance of communication when public procurement officers are building and managing relationships with government leaders such as governors, mayors, legislators, councilors, and others who have been elected or appointed into their roles. The course outlines common areas of focus within these communications and offers several guidelines for improving the effectiveness of opportunities to interact.
Suggested Audience: Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) and other high-level public procurement leaders who are responsible for interacting with those serving in public office in their jurisdictions.
