Course Description:

One of the main goals of NASPO’s academic initiatives is to assist states in developing a pipeline of new talent to join the workforce. We will hear from two states who have implemented an internship program and have successfully transitioned student interns into full-time staff members in their offices.

1. To discuss the elements of a successful internship program.

2. To develop strategies on how to create a talent pipeline in your own state.
