Penn State Sprint: Competitive Implications of Demand Planning

This is a professional development opportunity available through our academic partner Penn State University. As a corporate partner of Penn State’s Supply Chain program, NASPO is allowed 2-3 seats to their Virtual Supply Chain Leadership Academy Sprints each month. The Sprints involve 30-45 minutes of independent learning on your own time Monday-Thursday and a one hour live discussion with the group and faculty member on Friday.

Sprint Description:
Supply chains are evolving to serve more customers across more channels, leading to more complex forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management. Leaders discuss ways to improve inventory practices, and discover why cross-functional processes like Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) are needed to rationalize multiple forecasts and align planning practices across multiple functions.

Penn State Sprints are a great opportunity to learn about important topics affecting supply chain and provide an opportunity to connect with other industry professionals. While reviewing learning materials daily, you will have an opportunity to express your thoughts and relate the information to public procurement in the class discussion board.
Participation in the PSU Sprints are complimentary to NASPO members. Since spots are limited for this sprint, please let us know immediately if you or your staff would like to register.
