Gina Davis works for the Department of Finance and Administration as Director of the Office of Purchasing, Travel, and Fleet Management. She has worked for the State for 29 years, the last 5 of those years as Chief Procurement Officer. She holds a Bachelors degree from Belhaven College and received her Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) designation in June of 2000. She has been active in the Mississippi Purchasing Organization, MAGPPA, for over 20 years, serving as 2nd Vice President, Conference Vendor Co-Chair, Newsletter Editor, and is on the Quality Control Team. She is also a member of NIGP and has attended four NIGP Forums. Gina was also the recipient of the MAGPPA Buyer of the Year award in 1998 and the Oren Segrest Scholarship Award in 1999.
