Director Biography: Rob Wynkoop currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner for the Procurement Division at the Indiana Department of Administration. In this position for the State of Indiana, he leads a team that has spent the past five years streamlining the state’s approach to the purchasing of goods and services. As a result of their work, the State of Indiana has saved over $100 million in taxpayer dollars by buying smarter and working closer with vendor partners.
Prior to joining state government, Mr. Wynkoop was a senior account executive covering major healthcare accounts for the IBM Corporation. He has also held served as a staff member to former US Senator Dan Coats and as IT Director for the Lugar for President campaign. Additionally, he has a passion for working with at-risk young men. He has spent the past several years as a lay coach for the varsity and middle school football teams at two inner-city schools in Indianapolis. He sees football as a vehicle to reach young men and work with them to maximize their opportunities after high school. Mr. Wynkoop holds a BA in Business Administration from Taylor University as well as an MS in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. | ||||||
