Jeff Mandel has worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of General Services, Bureau of Procurement for the last four and half years serving in various capacities, including Associated Commodity Manager, Commodity Manager, and Director of Business Process Improvement and Training, and since October 2007 as the Chief Procurement Officer.

Prior to his experience in the public sector he served for over 17 years in various supply chain management leadership roles across several manufacturing companies in the private sector responsible for demand management, sales and operations planning, inventory control, procurement, customer service and production planning.

He holds an MBA as well as APICS, ISM and PMI professional certifications and also completed military service as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He is married with three children.
