Carol Wilson, C.P.M., is the Director of Procurement Programs and Services for the State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services.   Carol has worked in the procurement industry since 1985 starting as a Buyer for Aetna, Inc. and continued her role as a Purchasing Consultant at Aetna until 1997.  In 1997 she joined the public sector in Procurement at the Department of Administrative Services and has served in various capacities including Contract Team Leader, Assistant Procurement Manager, and most recently Director of Procurement Programs and Services.

Carol earned her degree from Becker College, Phi Theta Kappa, in 1981, and earned her lifetime C.P.M. designation from the Institute of Supply Management in 1996. She is a member of the Public Purchasing Association of Connecticut (PPAC) and is currently active in the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) including currently serving the Board of Directors.  In 2004 she was recognized through her public service by the State of Connecticut, Management Advisory Council, and received the 2004 Connecticut Distinguished Managerial Service Award.

A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Carol devotes her free time to her family and outdoor activities including her favorite pastime of camping.
