Jane Benton is the Administrator for the Office of State Procurement. Her office oversees the state procurement process, responsible for the purchase of goods and services, and administers the statewide credit card and surplus property programs. Prior to being appointed as Administrator in April of 2008, Ms. Benton served in various procurement and accounts payable management positions during her 25-year state and higher education career. She has an undergraduate degree in Marketing and MBA from Delta State University, Cleveland, Mississippi. During her career she has been active in NIGP, NAEP, IAPP, and NASPO, both locally and nationally.
