Director Biography:

Jane Benton, CPPO is the Director for the Arkansas Office of State Procurement. She began working in her current position in 2008, after thirteen years in Arkansas higher education procurement and finance areas. Prior to coming to Arkansas Jane worked in various state and higher education procurement positions in Mississippi. She is active in local and national procurement professional organizations.

Her office is the authority over state agency procurement processes, they establish and administer statewide and agency contracts, administer the statewide credit card program and run the state surplus property program. She welcomes the opportunity to bring her process improvement experience to the State level of government in Arkansas.
