Biography
Mr. Miluski received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1980. He entered government service in 1981 and has worked for the Missouri Division of Purchasing and Materials Management ever since. During that time, Jim was involved in purchasing various supplies and services, contract administration, special contract development (fuel card, natural gas transportation), budget, training agency purchasing personnel, implementation of automated purchasing system and other administrative duties. Mr. Miluski was appointed Director of the Division in July of 2001. Jim is certified by the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing as a Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and has served on several boards as a member and officer. Jim is a Board Member of the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) and has served as President, Vice-President, Secretary and Board Member for the Missouri Association of Public Purchasing, Inc. He is a current NASPO Board Member (2006-2008).
