 Committee Charge:

The Awards Committee promotes the annual George Cronin Awards for Procurement Excellence program that seeks to emphasize and recognize state procurement opportunities that initiate cost savings ideas and promote the adoption of these ideas throughout the states. The committee will work closely with NASPO staff to encourage states to submit program nominations, review the nominations and select winners based on a set of pre-established criteria. The committee is also responsible for coordinating the Guilio Mazzone Distinguished Service Award selection process which is conducted annually by a subcommittee of past award winners.
