2018 Academic Forum

 

The 2018 Academic Forum will be hosted by Michigan State University, April 10-12, 2018 in East Lansing, Michigan. The forum will bring together academics and state procurement leaders to discuss common challenges faced in attracting and retaining qualified talent in the profession of state procurement. Due to the collaborative nature of this event, participation is limited to NASPO-invited guests.    

Goals for the 2018 Academic Forum:

1.    Support the development of mutually beneficial relationships between NASPO’s members and Academic Partners through networking opportunities. 

2.    Identify additional opportunities for collaboration between NASPO’s membership and the Academic Community.

3.    Collect data to support future Procurement U initiatives, research and course development.

4.    Highlight the accomplishments and ongoing efforts of the Procurement U Higher Education initiative.
